Amongst the chaos, the confusion, and a day full of distractions, the couple rely on their photographer to capture what they will more certainly miss. The emotions of that day will run wild and will be over in a blink of an eye. That is why it is so important to understand your client, to become a collector of memories, a follower of dreams and a keeper of time. It is with this in mind that we will freeze those memories with the snap of our shutter.
In this master class, we will discuss why it is so important to get to know and become close to your client. On a wedding day, their guard must be down so that we can capture them exactly how they are, simple and beautiful. I will share my techniques to getting to know one's client and to tear down those walls between them so that they feel comfortable. I will also demonstrate how to get the shot without interrupting moments or recreating. Things happen in an instant and it is our duty to capture it as it happens. Learn to capture emotional photojournalistic style images and be prepared using different lighting techniques when necessary.
